What We Believe
In doctrine and practice we are conservative evangelicals of Arminian-Wesleyan persuasion.
We believe the Bible is the only written word of God, with the original text inspired by God and without error.
We believe the Creator God has revealed Himself to us in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the necessity of personal salvation by grace through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in leading a believer to recognize the need of holiness of heart, wrought instantaneously as a second definite work of grace when one's will is yielded to God's, therefore making it possible for him to love God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength.
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ
for the taking away of the universal Church of God.

The Most Important Thought The Most Important Thought
WHAT IF your life was to end today? It's not a question we're confronted with often, and yet it is one of utmost importance. Do you know where you will spend eternity when this life comes to an end? The Bible says that every individual will spend eternity in one of two places Heaven or hell. Often people say that a loving God would never send anyone to hell. What is missed in that statement is that a JUST God must have a payment for breaking His laws. The Bible tells us the penalty for sin (which is what breaking Gods law is) is death. (Rom. 6:23) And not physical death, but an eternal death consisting of separation from God in a lake of fire. (Rev. 20:14-15) Justice demands this penalty.
But the LOVE of God is demonstrated by the fact that God does not want you and me to have to pay that penalty. You see, God loves us so much that He sent His Son, JESUS, to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world,(I Jn.2:2) which is exactly what Christ did when He died on the cross. (Rom. 5:8) He could pay for our sins, because He had no sins of His own. (I Pet. 2:22) His payment for our sins is not the end of the story though. The Bible says that after He paid for our sins by His death, He rose again to justify us from those sins. (Rom. 4:25)
slide 3 All that is left for you and me to do is accept this payment and justification. How do we do this?
Believe in our hearts that Christ died and rose again.
Confess to God that we are sinners.
Ask Christ to forgive us of our sins and to save us.(Rom. 10:9-13)
Though prayer alone does not save, prayer and faith does bring salvation. Here is a simple prayer that you can pray in faith in order to ask Christ to save you.
"God I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe Christ died for my sins on the cross and rose again. I ask you God to forgive me of my sins and I am trusting in Christ alone for salvation. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
Use the contact page above and let us know if you have trusted Jesus as your personal Savior. We would love to rejoice with you and help you in any way we can.
slide 4 Three Months in...
Well, I have now been the pastor for almost three months. The time has been flying by. I am so thankful that God has given me a wonderful congregation for my first church.
Our services have been wonderful and we have experienced God moving on the services. We have seen teo new converts from the community and others who are getting help.
I know that we are still in the "honeymoon" phase, but I thank the Lord for His goodness and blessings.
Church improvements:
We have been working hard on the landscaping getting it ready for the new sign. It will be great to have the right service times on the sign. Thanks to everyone who has been working so hard on the outside of the church. A special thanks to Mike Schreck for his designs and ideas. I can't wait to see the finished product.
But even as we try to make the outside look nicer, it's what is happening on the inside that makes the difference. I am seeing a greater hunger for the Word of God. I am seeing a greater desire to do more for Him. I sense a change in my own life. God is doing a great work on the inside of the church even while we work on the outside. Many have commented about
slide 5 how encouraged they are after coming to the services. It certainly isn't because of anyone person, but it can all be attributed to the moving of God's Spirit.
I don't want to decorate the outside of the church and have the inside be dead and dry. I don't want people to be attracted to beautiful landscaping, only to be turned away from mundane and boring services that are plaguing so many churches today.
I'm not talking about entertainment for entertainment's sake, but an exciting service because God is doing exciting things. That is exactly what He has been doing in our midst. Come and see for yourself. We would love to have you worship with us.
slide 6 Souls Saved!
It's been an amazing few weeks here at PPHC. We have been seeing many people responding to God's call on their hearts. I have been blessed to see my uncle make things right with God. Today, 10/16/11, I was thrilled when my father-in-law and brother-in-law made their way to an altar of prayer.
I know that there are many who are saying that we just aren't seeing the victories like we used to. I'm not going to let that discourage me. I'm going to continue to pray that God would give us souls. That He would lead people to our church that He has been dealing with. I know that my God is not dead. He is still saving, He is still sanctifying.
It's amazing what happens when people pray behind the scenes and when people are obedient to God in the service.
Won't you pray with us? Pray that God would send revival to all of His churches. To our communities, cities and country.
He wants to send revival. But it has to start with us. There must first be a personal revival.
